My Approach
A warm welcome. My name is Grishma, and my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and inner experiences. With a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, I hold space for what you are going through with compassion, curiosity, and care as we move toward healing and self-discovery.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence including ADHD and OCD, relationship challenges, life transitions, and spirituality. Whether you are facing emotional distress, seeking deeper self-understanding, or working through relational difficulties, therapy offers a supportive space to explore and heal.
I work from a culturally aware lens and am committed to understanding and honouring your unique lived experiences and the way you see the world.

What It Is Like to Work With Me
Working with me means having a space where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. I take a warm and culturally aware approach and always move at your pace, without pressure or urgency.
I work from a mind-body perspective, paying attention to how thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences connect. Whether you are processing something difficult, working through past experiences, or hoping to feel more grounded in yourself, I am here to walk alongside you.
Therapy is not only about feeling better. It is about building a deeper relationship with yourself, finding meaning in your experiences, and developing tools and resilience to navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.
If you are looking for a therapist who understands the complexities of trauma, anxiety, and neurodivergence, and who can hold space for deep emotions while offering practical tools, we may be a good fit.
I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you move through healing, self-discovery, and growth.

Outside of Work
When I am not working, you will likely find me near water, whether floating on a paddleboard or lying back and staring at the sky, wondering what my parallel-universe selves might be doing.
During Ottawa’s long winters, I am usually cozied up indoors making and enjoying what can only be described as an unreasonable amount of dumplings, which is essentially a love language.
Animals, nature, and good food are my personal version of paradise. Give me greenery, a body of water, a few furry friends, and something delicious to snack on, and I am all set.
And when it is time to fully unplug, it is me, my cat, and an embarrassing amount of Bravo reality television. No shame, just snacks and vibes.
