About
Grishma Dahal
Registered Psychotherapist,
(Qualifying)
A warm welcome,
I am here to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and inner experiences. I am here to support you in your journey of healing and self- exploration. I am well knowledgeable in the interconnected mind-body system, and aim to create a space where we can hold space for what you’re experiencing, and through understanding and
compassion, move towards healing.
In my work, I have provided support to individuals who are experiencing life transitions such as change, loss, grief, as well as mental health related experiences including anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and trauma related experiences.
I have also worked with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, and race, and work from the lens of cultural awareness. I am here to understand and support you in navigating your own unique experiences, and interpretations.
Through our own unique experiences we create a
lens that shapes how we come to see our-selves, and the world around us. I work collaboratively with clients to identify these lenses, to understand the root causes of challenges, develop coping strategies, and create a plan for growth and healing.
I work from an integrated perspective,
incorporating the use of various therapeutic techniques (i.e. CBT, emotion-focused narrative, psychodynamic, artistic expression) depending on my client’s needs, and unique situation.
My ultimate goal as a therapist is to empower you in your journey, promote greater self-awareness, resilience and increase overall well-being. I would be honored to be able to support you in this journey.
